Sports Ball! my club UWE Canoe picked up five awards - half colours, full colours, Most Improved Club, Best Club and Sports Personality of the year to Lauren the President.. the most awards of any club there.
This took us all by shock, as we are in no way the biggest or most popular club at UWE. But when myself and this year's committee came together in September, we worked so hard to make our club as good as we could make it, and as inclusive and supportive as possible.
It goes to show that big ideas and teamwork paid off, making our club the best at our university!!
