The ring.
We went on a walk into the national park, having had glorious weather since arriving unfortunately it was pretty miserable first thing. It rained on and off most of the day, but we did get some sunny spells, and by the end of the day it had cleared up. The walk was stunning, through woodlands, crossing rivers, up into the mountains, trudging through snow, and then down into the valley, unlike anything I have ever seen. Oh yeah and I found this shiny shiny, I think I agreed to something, but can't quite remember what it was... :P
Anyway, the boy did good, I'm super pleased with it! We eventually returned to the flat, where Samuel and Pascale had put loads of candles out and had some alcohol free champagne, and we ate local prosciutto style ham with melon before having raclette, where you melt cheese on little pans under a grill on the table and scrap it over your food, we had it with potato, pickles and sweetcorn, it was gooood! Needless to say we were shattered from a days walking, and crashed out in the evening with a film and some chocolate.
