The accidental finding

The Devil's piping bag

...produced these biscuits. I know, because I was there in that hellish kitchen. Never, ever try to pipe anything with large chocolate chips in it!

Anyway, they tasted ok, and even looked not bad. But I am two-and-a-half hours older now. Perhaps I should have watched one of those baking programmes, just to see if there was any knack to using a piping set?

In other news, I felt a lot better today than yesterday, no chest pain or smoker's cough, and so stayed up all day. Work tomorrow, so I am practising. To make up for the miserable half term, I've booked myself on another bakery course and a B 'n' B for both of us in Ashburton, deepest Devon, in two weeks' time. Devon has to be one of my favourite counties, it's so verdant and rolling. Who knows, we might even see the sea...

PS the devil has a piping bag, but no bagpipes. I feel I should mention this, lest there be any confusion. My grandfather, uncle, and brother all play(ed) the pipes.
