Recovery

Today has been a day of recovery after the jollifications yesterday.  We had - of course - food left over.  I've sent some of it off with the daughters, and my brother and his wife also took some.  They were the last to leave, after eating a lunch of leftovers.

And we had yet more of the leftovers this evening.  We couldn't finish the rice salad, and felt uncomfortable keeping it any longer, so the last of it has gone in the bin.  We ate (with Fido's help) the last of the salmon.  The bottom ring of the Kransekake is all that is left - I shall enjoy that over the next couple of days.
