How to wash a cat

I don't think I've ever been this close and this low in the water beside a posh catamaran before. After the guy finished hosing it down he went off for a meal in the same waterfront taverna as us. Out from nowhere came the local kids, clambering on the boat, diving off it and swimming under it. He was mostly OK with it but I didn't dare whip out the camera again, it would only have encouraged the kids which the owner may not have been awfully happy about.
