A Walk in the Park!

The Dorchester Race for Life was in beautiful countryside, the grounds of an agricultural college. We did the 5km in 50 mins.

In the afternoon we drove to see T E Lawrence's tiny cottage, very dank and dark. He had an enormous leather bed, 3 divans together, where he entertained. Not sure I'll speculate. He had a huge bath too, but no lavatory - he went to the woods apparently. The walls were covered in cork tiles to help with the condensation. A room upstairs was lined with tinfoil type stuff to keep out the damp.

We can't get warm and have lit the fire.
