Humber Bridge

Never seen a Roller, so when one seemed to be fairly static and showing well at Aldbrough in East Yorkshire it seemed worth the 180 mile trip. I'd have gone yesterday as the forecast was a lot better, but Mrs L was dubious that we could do that and go to the Diamond Jubilee Do. So with fingers crossed that it'd hang around yet another day we set off around ten with the forecast that the rain would ease around two.

Well it hung around for us, the rain had eased when we arrived and it was duly sitting on what is probably the most photographed post in East Yorkshire. I've given RCB the honour of blipping it. I'm sure you've had enough of birds and would far prefer the view of the Humber Bridge from our picnic spot.
