Flower Inspirations

After a rainy, windy day yesterday, the evening provided a few rays
of sun.  I dashed out with my camera to seize the moment.  The
oriental poppies, always a source of inspiration with their tissue-paper
pedals, were working on the pollination process.

My extra picture today is an oriental poppy watercolor.  I began
working on it after my husband was hospitalized in March.  I was
working on tissue-paper leaves then also, only with a different medium.
The garden poppies were only inches above ground then.

I love oriental poppies.....Which was more successful, the photo
collage or the painting?
