The latest in fashion footwear!

Back from orthopaedic clinic, with a new and much more comfortable plastercast and a funky little boot to go with it! Wounds have healed nicely and with the help of elbow crutches I am now allowed put some weight on my ankle. The cast should be on for another four weeks (groan!) but the consultant is going to check it in three to see if I can get it off before I go on holiday at the end of June. So all in all ... that's progress. Turns out the tendon was 50% torn .... not sure if that happened with the original accident or with friction from the metalwork but either way I'm glad it's been repaired!
