Engine No. 374

In 1886, this little engine pulled the first train to arrive from Montreal. The completion of the railway was the fulfillment of a condition for the Colony of British Columbia to join Canada in 1871. For years it sat rusting in Kitsilano Park before being restored for Expo 86.
