Waiting

Well, we were  waiting. For the race results. For some reason the races were all delayed an hour, which upped the antsyness on the home front. Grandson placed 18th out of 24 in the 110 High Hurdles in today's NCAA track and field semi-finals in Austin. He won't be going on to the finals in Eugene, but my goodness we are proud of him and his first collegiate track semester. Now he moves on to football, which delights him and worries me. I'm not much of a sports person to start with, and football eludes me completely. That probably won't stop me from posting a few football pix sooner or later, but I never understand what's going on so there won't be much commentary.
