The promise of another spring

We are barely into winter, yet nature shows again it is running the show. New buds already appearing, which somehow helps one get through the inevitable bleakness of winter. Last macro for May. It's been fun, WW, but has left me totally awestruck.

Backyard shots of a suburban garden - so a couple of extras while we were there. The white Azalea looking so pristine and the deep beauty of what we call a Native Hibiscus. (Paladian  will know the correct name)
