Weather woes

"When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping."

I had made plans to go to the beach today to walk and search for Petoskey stones, beach glass and Leland blues. Mother Nature intervened, however, and guided me into having a different day. On my journey I stopped at a gallery to see an exhibit of photography by my favorite local photographer, Ken Scott. For this exhibit, he teamed up with a local painter, Kaye Kraypohl, and this painting caught my eye.

Despite our weather not meeting my expectations, I'm not complaining. My heart goes out to the people of Texas and the hardship they are experiencing.
