A busy day on the hill

Leading on a Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge event today, 36 lovely people from Huddersfield & Kent, who between them had raised £35k for Kirklees Hospice. Of the 36 only one dropped out and we got 24 of them round in the much desired 12hrs.
A new company for me, but with a great ethos - so will be happy to become one of their approved guides, even talked about putting them some overseas packages together. It was a grand day and even the 05:00 start and 21:00 finish weren't too bad.

I've walked, run and paraglided the Y3P for many many years, but it seems every time I do it it's busier & busier. We're just starting to approach prime challenge season, but today I reckon we saw 500+ people on the route.

On a personally positive note after recent difficulties the knee/hamstring held up well.
