All the fun of the fair
Took a quick walk early this morning before leaving for my monthly sewing workshop, only going as far as the Village Hall to see the fairground.
The village was closed to traffic from lunchtime to late afternoon, so we took off to the Bowland Fells walking up the Dunsop valley. This area belongs to the water authority, United Utilities, and the Duchy of Lancaster estate which belongs to the Queen.
Nobody would think this was Lancashire at all! It is so beautiful and an AONB - Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. See extra photo where Hector has his eyes firmly fixed on the sheep.
This is also home to the endangered Hen Harrier.
