Mucking in

Finishing off my aunt and uncles garden was bitter sweet. To begin the day was 3 pots of coffee, 9 pots of tea and 15 bacon sarnies. Apparently that was my first job.... Tim and I painted the shed whilst the boys laid out the patio slabs. Then came the fun part- mixing 87 loads of cement and having to do a dash half way through to buy more cement!

The garden looks much better now, it was just a shame my uncle was bed bound and couldn't even open his eyes for long enough to look at the photos. He began a new drug on Thursday and the side effects include severe fatigue, which he definitely experienced today. We had to call a doctor out to prescribe more pain management! Not an easy day, physically or emotionally
