An adventurous stick insect

We all spent the morning at Butterfly World, thanks to a Groupon voucher. I have some lovely shots of various butterflies but I just love the expression on Will's face in this one and also that fact he still has his hands out flat, despite the stick insect wandering up his jumper to say hello.

In the afternoon Will had a party, I took Carys rollerskating for a little while and then went into Hitchin to pick up the book she had ordered from Waterstones. She was given about 17 books for her birthday, but she wanted the next two Hetty Feather books as she is loving the first and as she had both a book token and some money it seemed a good idea.

All in all a reasonable day to end (nearly) the half term holiday.
