Cherries

Some intermittent sunshine today unlike the heavy rain and hailstorm I was caught in, in Cambridge yesterday, although it has also been dull and overcast.

Last year the Cherries were already red, so today I went to look at our trees. This year the Cherries are still very green although there are quite a few visible. However, I doubt we will get to eat many as the birds and squirrels always get there first. We tried netting the trees many years ago, but the birds still got in and some got stuck in the netting and had to be rescued; netting therefore is not an option.
