Drymen Show

Earlier than usual blip for me today as I am expecting a visit from D#1 and some little people this afternoon, then Gill is arriving later to stay the night, so there won't be much blip activity this evening.

After a dodgy week of showers, I was pleased that the day dawned bright and dry, if rather cloudy, for Drymen Show, the biggest event in the local calendar. A good day out was guaranteed.

I walked down to the bridge over the River Endrick to take some photos, but wasn't tempted to join the crowds. The blip shows just some of the cars parked in the field; vehicles and people on foot continued to stream in, which is all good news for the local economy.

I have set the timer to record the final episode of Happy Valley  tonight *sob*, as we might will maybe probably be too busy nattering to remember to watch.
