Pretty flower

We went up to the allotment in the morning and ogatadomar helped with watering and a bit of tidying - oh my, the weeds are coming on apace. Even a few vegetable seeds have germinated. I got occasional texts from DaveH, somewhere in a trench in Glasgow, updating me on the midge situation.

In the afternoon we went to the Botanics and since it had become overcast and a bit chilly, chose to do the tour inside the glasshouses. Oh, lovely stuff, all of it! We were both particularly charmed by this little flower in the "Arid Lands" glasshouse, in amongst the succulents and cacti, but neglected to make a note of its name. Doh! I think it's from California...
