Arena panorama

We visited Soave and Asolo today, and then headed back to Verona for a concert in the arena. The concert was by Al Bano and Romina Power, 2 famous Italian singers. I enjoyed their music, but it was a bit too loud to be pleasant (probably not helped by the fact that we were seated near a speaker!) It was, however, an amazing experience to attend a concert in the arena and we were very lucky to get tickets as it was a one-off concert. Would love to go to an Opera there one day! The concert was also an interesting display of Italian organisation (or lack of). The tickets said the concert started at 8.15 so we, in true British fashion, arrived at 7.45 to spend the next 1hr 45mins watching the performers take selfies on stage and the audience do Mexican waves! A very interesting experience :)
