Whoa!! Is That A Peanut Down There?

Well, I finally made a Squirrel Friday!   This little fellow made me laugh this morning when I left for work -- nice way to start the say.  There were a lot of squirrels romping around, chasing each other.  They were very entertaining.  Throw in a couple of crows and a few jays and it was practically a Broadway production.

One week from today I'll be on a plane heading for Manchester, England, and a lovely two-week vacation wandering around Yorkshire.  I am SO excited.  I've rented a little studio apartment in Hebden Bridge for my stay and plan to do a lot of walking, train riding and just generally pretending I live there.  The first time I ever visited there was in 1998 with my husband and I truly felt as though I had arrived home.  I don't know what it is about that part of the world that tugs at my heart so, but I'm just going to enjoy it.
