rare black iris...

appearing more purple depending - on how the sunlight is - reflecting off of it - or sometimes a bit violet - it is a jaw dropping sight - a rare flower i am told - by one of the keepers - of the little garden - i have come to frequent - during these spring and summer - months - times when my soul simply - sings with the glory of it all - the sheer exuberance of being around - so many incredible flower - blossoms which are either - in bud form or fully open - like this precious rare black iris - a flower i have never - laid eyes on before - yes, an iris but not black - mind you, that is out of - this world extraordinary - and due to that i have - left the photo untouched - other than very slight cropping - it is straight out of the camera - i figured it was the - only way to make for...
