Contrasts

We' ve had a painter in to do some decorating over the last two days, so we were up early! Russet and I managed a circular walk round the village before it started to rain heavily. 
A pleasant visit to the village Cafe for coffee, a chat and to buy eggs and our favourite coffee slice, before getting down to some editing on our history project. 
Sunshine followed the rain this afternoon, so out to find a blip in the garden! These hostas are doing well. They are growing on a stand well above the ground - and the slugs!!
