Around the World

I wonder how many people recognise this book ... I certainly did when I saw it as part of a display in the Aberfoyle Church Around the World Flower Festival.  Having done a Google search I think the book was first published in the 1940s and revised in 1960.  I have many fond memories of my days in the Brownies where I learned to set a coal fire as part of my house orderly badge and serve a cup of tea as part of my hostess badge .... it was my mother's job, of course, to sew the badges onto the sleeve of my uniform.
