The Turquoise Coast of Southern Turkey

.... is the reason that we first visiited this wonderful part of The world - to sea kayak - 10 years ago. We then discovered that my great friend, Maria Coffey, and her husband, were running sea kayaking holidays in this area. We have never coincided till today! We had a superb lunch together in Göcek with an electric storm raging outside the restaurant, and reminisced about other times when the threads of our lives have brought us together. It is 9 years since we last saw each other (see the extra photo if you want to meet Maria on the left, she is the author of many travel and children's books).
