Waiting to swoop

In to Berwick on the bus this morning as MrM needed the car to get to the dentist's. A nice stress-free way to travel, even if it takes twice as long as driving - and enables you to look at the countryside en route.

MrM survived his root canal filling and picked me up from work, and we did the weekly shopping on the way back to the flat.

Lovely evening walk along a stretch of St Cuthbert's Way. This female kestrel (at least we think that's what it is) was waiting to swoop down for its supper.
