An old curiousity shop

Day out with better half today.  Had planned on doing a London walk but rain put paid to that, so went to Museum of Brands off Portobello Road.  Unfortunately photos were forbotten!  It was a real trip down memory lane, especially with old sweet wrappings etc.  Worth a visit once it relocates over the summer to a new location on Lancaster Road, Notting Hill.  My better half did ask as we entered the museum - "Is this a place middle-aged people visit?"  The answer is "yes" because it shows stuff from our childhood.  The younger you are the less you will recognise.

Our visit was followed by a wander down the Portobello Road Market, where this photo was taken.

We then went to the Welcome Foundation exhibition of Forensic Science.  It showed you how difficult it is to get away with a crime.  Evidence is always left because of contact made with another human being or things.  Traces can always be found.  You have been warned.

A full and interesting and, I guess, middle aged day!  Not that my better half thinks she has reached it yet - but then she was a child bride!
