Dark Cloud
14.0C and bright with plenty of sunshine and plenty of cloud. Showers through the afternoon. Light breeze.
Maeve the Deerhound was out in the back garden most of the morning again. I cleared and dug over the other half of the border I started yesterday. I was accompanied by a male blackbird who was most interested in the ground I had just dug. The border is ready for the Sunflowers now.
Maeve and I went for our walk after lunch. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. There were dark clouds all round but none near us. We came back along the cycle path and round in a long loop, heading into Carnoustie then up the main road before turning along for home. There was a dark cloud over beyond the row of trees at the far side of the field nearest the house.
Not long after we got home there was a heavy shower. I think more will come along through the afternoon. 4.36pm ... hailstones and thunder and lightning !
Extra photo is the three trees as we started the walk ... no dark cloud.
