NZ Cabbage Tree - Wintertime.

Snow, snow and more snow - thats been our day here in Canterbury. It started at 4am, settling at 6.30am and hasn't stopped. I've trudged in and out, wandering down our road in the hope of a good blip but at the end of the day our iconic Cabbage tree won out.

Daughter E and I thank you all for your kind wishes and thoughts for Daughter E's new venture with macarons - she sat here this afternoon smiling and saying how nice everyone is, a very exciting time for her.

I've heard differing weather forecasts for tomorrow so not entirely sure whats in store, maybe more snow - who knows. Time to put another log on the fire and find come comfort food for tea, I'll be back later :)
