Red neck territory
This is Waders Pond taken from Wagtail way on Ash Island in the Kooragang wetlands. Red neck territory because there are plenty of red necked avocets around. Very camera shy birds for rednecks I might add. Do they bully the other birds in the pond and have right wing views. (Did you see what I did there?) I had a bit of a 4WD adventure taking a path I thought would double back to where I wanted to only to have to pass through a quagmire. I did manage to safely navigate the quagmire twice and not get bogged. A wash for the car when I got home and all is well. Hannah had her stitches out today and is doing really well for an old girl. It's the weekend so happy days.
