The Birds and the Bee

It was another day of not very exciting things, except for one event which was exciting and that is that Tom was offered the job for which he had an interview yesterday.
 
He now has a week of debauchery and late nights before he joins the ranks of the Salary Men.
 
We didn’t even get into town for coffee, deciding instead to slump in front of the tennis, and Andy Murray, with a cup of tea after our weekly shop at Morrisons.
 
Ann did achieve something useful today; she chalk painted some short step ladders we had found in the charity shop at the tip in readiness for our bedroom.  I’ll use it as a blip in the future once it’s in place.
 
Being short of blip material I wandered into the garden between sets and took some flower pics.  This one features a bee, well actually a bee’s bum.  The ‘extra’ is a very poor photo of a blackbird, a starling and her baby which I took quickly through the window this morning from the other end of the garden with my compact camera, anyway that’s my excuse.
