Guarding the property!!

R & P have gone to a Buckingham Palace Garden Party today. So we are in charge!!

I spent a third day working on the curtains; hopefully one more day should see them almost finished. Working on the hems of the floor length curtains will have to wait until the new carpet is laid in July.

We went back to collect the dogs late afternoon and took them to the new house for this first time.  They were very good, checking out the garden and when we walked through the village. They ignore other dogs, but bark like mad at any cats in the vicinity!! That will stop the local cats using our front flower bed as a toilet!!

We were able to get on with some other jobs after dinner and returned late, with enough time for a beer before bed time. 

The girls seemed quite happy with the change in routine. As long as they get walked, fed, a pigs ear for a treat and their smelly blanket to sit on, they are satisfied :0)
