Certainly tastes good...

I knew it was risky to go freestyle and start to mess with a well-loved recipe but I had some strawberry and rhubarb pie filling, and I also had a desire to eat Eve's pudding. I went for it and the result was that the topping was heavier than the fruit and sort of sank into it! Cooked it anyway and there is now a mystery "custard sauce" layer in the middle. I'm going to pretend that it is supposed to be like one of those fondant thingies as it tastes delicious and seems to be cooked through.

Hope the other half will agree when he gets home from his evening off.
