Lazy
Lazy day for me... And these cats.
We popped up to CheeseLady's farm this morning to see the horses (and the cats, kittens, dogs and sheep). Turns out the horses like cherries, and chew chew chew for a while in a rather unattractive way, then spit out the stones. Once Ro had performed her horse whispering marvels on the Arab that everyone is a bit scared of (TallGirl was very impressed, and she is my guide on all things equestrian), we headed home for lunch, then to assemble all the horse riding equipment for Ro to try on and then out again - this time to the stables.
I had asked for Ro and TallGirl to ride together, and on the back of this they booked a load of folk in for a pony ramble (hack?) Though I didn't witness any of this, I'm told it was much fun, with pirouetting, puddles, trees and a bit of galloping. And possibly more talking in French than Ro was ready for!
So, they returned home exhausted and very much in need of showers (both), a strong G&T (Ro) and an early night (pretty much everyone!) Dinner, then some slightly unsuitable telly, and bed.
