BH Day Four....
The one thing that has been highlighted to us over the past four days is family and friends. We have seen out nearest and dearest over this time and just shows how important it is to see these people regularly.
Today was the last day of Jubilee celebrations. I was glued to the tv over lunchtime to see if I could see my aunt on tv at the Palace. She won tickets for the procession and fly past - lucky duck! 2 potential sightings but not confirmed!
After that, we went to our lovely friends house for a "BBQ" but it was chucking it down! this turned into the most amazing afternoon standing around talking about life, eating chilli, lots to drink and cooing over some fantastic home made cooking. See blip photo for scruminess! It was a really lovely afternoon, made all the better by the lovely babies of the group and cooing over them more than the cakes.
Also bonus of not seeing people regularly is getting birthday presents late!! Very much appreciated and such a beautiful gift. She knows me too well.
So that's the Jubilee weekend all done and dusted now. Such a special weekend in many senses.
I'm glad it's done though, as that means I'm going to be back home in Scotland this weekend! So needed.
Here's to Queenies next ten years on the throne!
