Heaven on a Plate...!!!!!

What you see before you is more than a work of art, it is flipping well orgasmic!!! what dreams are made of!!!!
This is the "Gourmet tasting plate" thats is served at my work....and is a selection of 3 of the desserts on tonights menu....
Back left, is the "Dark chocolate and coffee pave, marshmallow foam, doughnuts, Pedro Ximenez ice cream, chocolate tuille, "back left is "White chocolate parfait, cherry jelly, black mojito granita, star anise dust", and in front is the amazing incredible "Cinnamon and bee pollen genoise, granny smith's sorbet, spherified nutmeg brulée"...which incorporates using sodium alginate and calcium chloride....its truly brilliant!!!!

So, "I got to thinking".....

Where have I been and eaten, and experienced great food?...food that when I remember and think about, no matter how long ago, my mouth still waters!!!...."Heaven on a plate"???.....
1...Mr. Sams....an amazing chinese restaurant in New York that I went to with my aunt... everything was just beautiful...kind of a nouveaux cuisine, meets chinese...
2...Sloanes in Elviria, Espana...a major favourite haunt of mine, as it is just down the road from my dads house.....I had the best Mille Feuille.....with goats cheese...bliss!!!
3...The Weem...It was not so much the meal, but a truffle I had at the end....White chocolate coated Shropshire blue cheese....it was incredible...all my senses were going crazy as the combination was so absurd, but it really really worked.....Fab!!!
4...In my house...when I used to eat meat, I made an amazing chicken dish which I got from a magazine, that was filled with Ricotta, sun dried tomatoes, pine nuts, spinach, and wrapped in Parma ham...it is still a regular dish that I make for friends, and always goes down well...
5...The Great Northern in Bundorran....THE best Chocolate orange cheesecake i ever have tasted....this is still a massive regret of mine....as I was asked if I would like another bit, and I said NO..... arrgggghhhh...
6...The Priory...Okay, this is a strange one, but, I was in hospital a few times over the years as I tried to recover from my eating disorder, and you know.....when I was well enough to enjoy food, I alwyasnlooked forward to they Caramel Cake.....sheer bliss!!!...okay, I never enjoyed eating, and in a way still don't....its a necessity, something I HAVE to do...but that caramel cake, I love !!!
7...Cinnamon in Aberdeen...I had THE best curry ever...not because of much, but because it was the only time I have ever found a curry that was served spicy enough, that I was happy......usually I have to ask for extra chills and still can't get it hot enough, but this one had Naga chillies, and was perfect!!!
8...Rosemarino in Elviria...The best starter os Goats cheese, very thin apple, walnuts and truffle oil....devine!!!!
9...Titanic pizza in Carnoustie...my gosh, I adore Pizza, and consider myelf a bit of a Pizza snob....this is a takeaway, and makes probably the best Pizza I have ever had!!!!...so much so, that myself and my friend were having one 5 nights a week at one stage for about a month...lol
10...A wee italian under a bridge in Perth....dont ask me what its called or anything, but I could take you there....they had the best Tiramisu I have ever had....

Lol....so, I can't believe my blip is on food...hehehe...but, hey ho...its memories in a different capacity.....Happy Eating!!!!
