Setting Up Camp

Fortunately we had a fine day for it. It is always a slightly vulnerable, transitional time - leaving behind our usual distractions and props, living in the open for five days with about sixty others of all ages. But we have done it many times over the years and the Mayflower Camp is always special, when the trees are fully in leaf and many of us have not seen each other since last summer.
