Surveying the world

I had a bit of time to fill up the bird feeder this afternoon. It is always interesting how the bigger birds seem to take over the feed initially. So I was tested to magpies, pigeons, crows and other as yet unnamed birds as they took food from the open feeder. I wanted to take some of the smaller birds but they were not much in evidence so settled for this juvenile blackbird (I think)
