Lunch

Mrs. Sparrow was very busy delivering a deliciously juicy green lunch to her greedy babies.The babe in the neighboring house was on the lookout for his mother as well. 

The oriole nest is swinging in the wind, we have thunder and wind warnings in the afternoon weather updates, I hope Mrs. Oriole has anchored that woven nest firmly.

The chipmunks are busy as well, packing in nuts and hopping off to their underground pantries.  My favorite chipmunk, Fyra is still sleeping, she comes out later in the day and is as tame as ever, jumping up in my lap just as she has done for so many, many years.

This day came in warm and muggy, we may be getting the rain we need this afternoon.
