Ye Gads! We Went And Won A Game!

... and when you wait all year to win a competitive game of sport, two come along at once.

We were back throwing our arms tonight for the first time since last month. We were playing Penarth. Both games were tight tussles, but we kept plugging away and just edged both of them 13-7 and 13-8. I was quite pleased with my shooting tonight, I only had one end when I missed with both attempts, and that was the difference in both games. Dawn kept putting in a decent boule in when it mattered, which meant more often and not we were the ones with boules in hand at the end.

It stayed dry, and with our re-arranged grudge cup match with our local rivals Pontyclun being played tomorrow, we are hoping the weather forecast is correct and we can get back on top of our fixtures!
