A Day At The Food Bank

Today, my coworkers and I spent the day volunteering at Moisson Montréal, the local food bank, sorting food and non food items, filling boxes with fresh veggies... Hard work, but very rewarding, and a great time was had by all.


I took over 250 pictures today, and looking at them makes me realise how difficult photography is. Capturing movement, people in action, atmosphere, all of that in low light... and I find that my knowledge of the technical aspects of the whole thing is rather limited. The past 157 days and 157 photographs on this blog have certainly helped revive my enthusiasm for the art... but skill does not necessarily have anything to do with it.
