Multifunctional
The Tampa Bay Hotel, built in 1891 by railroad magnate Henry B. Plant, once welcomed celebrity guests as president Teddy Roosevelt. Its turn-of-the century opulence features domes, cupolas, gingerbread details and Moorish minarets, harkening back to a bygone era. Today guests can enjoy authentically restored hotel rooms, visit the Henry B. Plant Museum or go to the summer courses of the university.
