We walked up above the Nyer valley to the abandoned village of En.  It was encouraging to see that the church had been restored as well as the lavoir (wash house) and that one or two houses were being worked on.  At the end of the walk we had a drink at the Chateau de Nyer which has been converted into a restaurant and an establishment for handicapped people who help out with service, an excellent initiative.  More photos of the walk here.
