Waterfall in the Gorge

Went back to the Royal Gorge today for a hike - or more of a quest - to try and find some of the waterfalls we spotted from the river the day before. This shot isn't a macro in the traditional sense, but is a relatively closeup of a much, much larger waterfall.
I was entranced by the rocks in the area and with how wet and green everything was (for the middle of the high desert in Colorado, it seemed out of place). This waterfall probably hasn't been flowing for over a decade and likely will not be flowing again for many years once the rainfall finished draining.
