Taking in the View

I like to stop on the Knickerbocker Bicycle / Pedestrian Bridge to eat a snack and drink water while watching the Willamette River pass under me.
There are small balconies build into each side the bridge deck to accommodate this very human behavior.
As I prepared to leave, I looked up I noticed the other balcony was similarly occupied with a runner.
By the time I had organized my stuff and was ready to head out she was gone.

It was a most pleasant non-encounter on a stunningly beautiful day.
