Sunshine on my shoulders

Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy
Sunshine in my eyes can make me cry
Sunshine on the water looks so lovely
Sunshine almost always makes me high

Except when it's too hot, and that's when we take cover.

But today, it was so lovely out there, and guess what!  No, you'll never guess.  SHE rang the vet this morning and pleaded with them to let me play with Ernie.  And they said YES!!  I overheard the conversation and she said I was driving her mental.  As if!  I mean, me?

Anyway, we had a terrific play, but they still wouldn't let me go out on account of I might get the bandage even dirtier than it is.  But we galloped round and round the room, and it felt great.

Only twenty four hours from Tulsa and it will be off!  Yay! and again YAY!
