Eilean Donan Castle

Jubilee Holiday today - thanks Ma'am. Spent the day on a day trip with Tracy and a drive to Eilean Donan Castle. It turns out it's more of a Grand Designs project than an actual castle. A rich man's holiday home, build between 1912 and 1932, although it looks much older. Where most castles are built for a functional purposes - i.e. to keep folk out - this is built to look good, with balconies where you'd want a view.
