Geranium with a side of ranting

"My recipe for dealing with anger and frustration: set the kitchen timer for twenty minutes, cry, rant, and rave, and at the sound of the bell, simmer down and go about business as usual."-Phyllis Diller

I'm over it. Mostly.

Such a little thing to push me over the edge.

I finally sorted through all the websites and consumer ratings and picked the simplest washing machine I could find. No bells. No whistles. Less to break.

I am a sucker for new technology but I just wanted that manual load size control- not the high efficiency design with the sensor to control water level automatically.

The new washer was delivered today.

Yes, it is the higher tech model. The one I wanted is not available. The floor model was sold already. And the store was "happy" to send the higher tech model for the same price. Grrrrr.

Like I said, I am over it...mostly.

So...now that my rant is over (thank you, Phyllis), the flower here is a geranium of course, also called cranesbill. "The common name “cranesbill” refers to the the seed capsule that looks like a crane’s bill." Hmmm. Never noticed that and I always have them in my garden. I need to go look.
