New Lens

Treated myself to a new lens today.  The Canon 100-400mm Mk II is so much handier, lighter, and more usable that the fixed 400mm 2.8 I'll gladly sacrifice the loss to 4.5.... With the advent of new chips cameras can much more easily handle fading light. Looking forward to trying it out over the next couple of days....Have a family confirmation in Kildare tomorrow so not much time for wildlife shots.... Seems my cousin has agreed with her neighbours and friends that I would do their family portraits...... Better go dig out a suit and dressy up gear......just saying
